Newark Orchard School is a Special School in Balderton providing education to students with a range of special educational needs aged between 3 and 18.
We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and motivated teaching assistants to contribute towards the achievements of this happy school. Preferably you will have worked within a busy educational environment but appropriate special educational needs training will be provided.
You will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Resilience alongside the ability to work as part of a team to support exciting, alternative learning opportunities for our young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate confidently and appropriately with staff, pupils and parents
- Good numeracy and literacy skills preferably equivalent to GCSE Grade C
