Utilities Project Engineer, permanent career opportunity, based West London.Responsible for the management of Multi Utility Site Engineers who deliver a diverse range of disciplines in Gas, Electricity, Water, Ducting and Piping.
Working for a leading providerof utility and energy connections, and utility infrastructure requires a (NRSWA) Qualified Project Engineer.Someone who can drive through the delivery of works to the customer specification, maintaining compliant and correct industry standards, within confirmedtimescales and against budgetary and cost agreements.

You will need to visit and inspect sites, meet with the teams of Utility Engineers and sub-contractors to assess works, meet with the customers, those in Local Authority, thirdparties and other Public Bodies.
Naturally, there is an expectation to produce reports on all Works related projects, therefore excellent verbal and written communication skills are a given and will include the use of (MS Office - Outlook, Word and Excel).
You will work closely with thewider planning team to prioritise, implement and scope out new projects, ensuring that current projects are delivering against SLA's.
The organisation and costing of subcontract labour requirements/PPE/plant and any related equipment is also a key responsibilityof this role.
You will hold a current EUSR card
,the required standard qualification for the utility industry, with at least one formal qualification and supporting accreditation in the Utility Engineering Sector to evidence your previous, relevant employmentexperience and sector knowledge.
Your role as Utilities Project Engineer, will include full responsibility for all Health and Safety matters, investigating any site, employee and company incident within the statutory 72 hour period, submitting reports to thenecessary Bodies, driving through NWSRA legislation and all codes of practice pertinent to the wider works activities.
The ability to motivate and encourage your wider team of Utility Engineers is a key requisite, working together to acknowledge the importance of providing high quality standards of work, meeting regularly to assess and review performance in line with companyrequirements.
