Description

We are seeking to appoint an experienced registered nurse, allied health professional, or social worker with enthusiasm and drive to work collaboratively with our colleagues within the trust and our partner agencies such as the police and the local authority.

In this role you will be supported to deliver the safeguarding agenda promoting a 'Family Approach' and 'Making Safeguarding Personal'.

This will include delivery of training programmes/modules, supporting staff/teams with safeguarding issues, provision of operational advice, facilitating reflective safeguarding supervision and attending multi-agency meetings.

Ideally you will have experience of undertaking safeguarding adult work and you will need to be willing to develop skills within children's safeguarding to support the Family Approach.

The Trust will support you in your role by providing ongoing training and project opportunities.

If you are looking for a new challenge, and have a real interest in safeguarding or wish to develop this as a specialism this could be an ideal opportunity for you.

The team culture is one where learning and reflective practice are valued with regular group and individual supervision in place to support this.

The safeguarding team is trust wide although we work in 3 hubs to cover the different divisions within Southern Health.

If you are successful your work base will be Parklands House in Basingstoke or Tidbury Farm in Sutton Scotney. You will be expected to travel across Hampshire as part of your role.
