Simpson Millar is one of the nation's leading consumer law firms and we are looking for an experienced Litigator to join our EL/PL team on a permanent basis.

This role is on a hybrid working arrangement with up to 2 days per week in either our Leeds, Liverpool, or Manchester.

This is a fee-earning role managing a litigated caseload of employer's and public liability personal injury claims and potentially a limited number of CICA claims from denial to settlement or trial in an established, forward-thinking Legal 500 firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing a caseload of denied EL PL personal injury claims from denial to settlement or trial
Assessing liability and disclosure on denied claims and deciding whether to proceed
Accurately identifying risks and referring concerns
Obtaining and valuing medical evidence
Preparing comprehensive schedules of loss to support the client's claim
Handling client discussions regarding valuation report
Negotiating with the Defendant's solicitor postissue of Court proceedings

You will need have experience in handling a caseload of Litigated EL/PL files and as well as strong billing record.
