Position Description

CGI has an opportunity for a Service Engineer to join a growing team on an exciting project. The role will focus on supporting service elements for the Private Cloud implementation in Microsoft Azure Stack Hub (MASH).

This Service Engineer role will initially be based in Corsham office for circa 6 months, with a very strong possibility for extension, and will cover service management and operations in an ITIL environment.

Following the successful completion of the projectin Corsham, there will be an onsite requirement in other offices across the Southwest of England.

Due to the secure nature of the programme/role, you will need to hold the highest level of UK Security Clearance, or be eligible to go through National Security Vetting to obtain this clearance
Your future duties and responsibilities
The Service Engineer will be responsible for the following activities:

Support the implementation of a private cloud environment in Microsoft Azure Stack Hub (MASH)
Working within a disciplined service environment as part of a wider operations team
Ongoing support, development, and maintenance of the Private cloud environment
Incident and Problem Resolution

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Microsoft System Management Products
Service Delivery
Hands on experience in Server 2019, MS SCCM (MECM), MS Certificate Services, MS Active Directory
Strong Teamwork
Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Desire for continuous improvement with emerging technologies

Knowledge in the following areas will be advantageous:

Azure DevOps
Public and Private Cloud Concepts
Remedy or similar tools
