Description

A successful and innovative plastic injection moulding and toolmaking business are seeking an experienced injection mould Toolmaker to join their team.

With a solid history of continuous and consistent growth, this company design, develop and manufacture components for global OEMs.


As a Toolmaker, your duties will include -

  • Repairing, maintaining and developing production Mould Tools
  • Preventative maintenance and repairs and completing rootcause analysis with the objective of preventing reoccurrence and improving tool robustness
  • Assist with safety checks and Improvement activities
  • Supporting improvement and maintenance of 5S standards
  • Be a time served / apprentice trained Toolmaker
  • Have a City & Guilds Toolmaker qualification and/or ONC Mechanical Engineering.
  • Have a strong background in injection mould tool manufacture, repair, and maintenance
  • Have worked within an automotive or similar highvolume industry

On offer -
A salary K depending on experience

3 shift rotation 6am-2pm, 2-10pm, 10-6 nights

Based near Middlesbrough, this role is commutable from Durham, Brompton, Stockton-on-Tees and Barnard Castle
