The role of School Administrator will involve:

  • Forming effective relationships with support departments to ensure the efficient running of the school administration (including maintenance, health and sfaety processes, ordering of provisions and processing payments)
  • Supporting the admissions and referral processes
  • Assisting the wider team with the development of lesson plans, teaching support requirements/aids and reports
  • Ensuring safeguarding of all young people underpins every decision made
  • Providing weekly staff attendance reports to People & Culture and Payroll, supporting the attendance management process
  • Monitoring and reporting on pupil attendance and updating the school contacts database
  • Scheduling meetings and ensuring the delegates are notified
  • Supporting the transition processes and preparing all necessary paperwork for students joining and moving on from the school

What we are looking for from you:

  • Strong administration skills within a School/College environment
  • Experience of working in a SEHM/SEN (desirable)
  • The ability to update and maintain records on internal databases/systems
  • Understanding and experience of following school security procedures
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • The ability to prioritise workloads effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good numeracy skills
  • The ability to work the required hours ( Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm)
