Are you a dynamic, team-oriented professional with experience in academic assessments? Are you looking for a full-time temporary role with the flexibility of a hybrid working pattern? Signature Recruitment is thrilled to partner with our client, a London university, seeking an Assessments & Regulations Officer.

This 4-5-month role has an immediate start and features a hybrid working structure, with 3 days on campus and 2 days from home.


In this vital position as Assessments & Regulations Officer, you'll handle crucial administrative tasks around assessments for postgraduate and undergraduate programmes within the Law department.

You'll be the first point of contact for students and staff, managing day-to-day assessment processes and regulations. You'll be pivotal in organising and servicing meetings, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of exam procedures. Your role is fundamental in maintaining the cohesion of programmes. You'll liaise with the Exams Office, service Exam Board meetings, and maintain student records and programme webpages.


Assessments & Regulations Officer Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on all administrative aspects of assessment arrangements, acting as the primary contact for programme-related enquiries.
  • Organise meetings, collate and submit student marks, liaise with the Exams Office, and service Exam Board meetings.
  • Ensure exam procedures, processes, and recordkeeping are efficient and accurate across all programmes.
  • Respond to student enquiries regarding exam and assessment processes.
  • Maintain and update Exams and Assessment records and programme web pages.
  • Liaise with programme staff, external examiners, and various university teams to facilitate effective communication and reporting on assessment processes.

Assessments & Regulations Officer Key Skills:

  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to manage complex administrative tasks.
  • Proven experience in assessmentrelated roles within Higher Education.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with students and faculty members at all levels.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a strong teamfocused approach.
