Hampshire County Council's Children's Services Directorate supports children and families with social care needs across the county. The Sufficiency Service includes a Procurement and Commissioning Team; a small dynamic team which is committed to commissioning a range of quality placements for children and young people.

  • The team are seeking a
  • As part of the team, you will undertake contract and stakeholder management and support procurement and purchasing activities through a compliant process, whilst developing your public sector specific knowledge, skills and experience throughout the commissioning and contract management lifecycle.You will be confident and solutions focused with a commitment to continuous improvement. You will be comfortable liaising with stakeholders to develop and sustain effective relationships. A strong attention to detail and well developed analytical skills will be important to ensure daytoday problems can be solved.
  • Being commercially minded, you'll also have a keen appreciation of our need to deliver cost effective, efficient and streamlined services and the importance of these services in responding to the needs of the children and families that we support.

Your role will be key within the category, promoting the service to our stakeholders, supporting team members and ensuring that our stakeholders receive high-quality services.
