As a Scrum Master the core focus of the position is to manage the effectiveness of the Flexible Engineering team on the delivery of Azure cloud solutions for both new and existing clients.

You will work closely with your team, your clients and wider SixDegrees teams as an agile expert to coach and facilitate the team to self-manage and deliver outcomes that meet the 'Definition of Done' in the product backlog, remove blockers which are impacting the teams progress, and ensure that agile ceremonies are runin a positive and productive manner.

You will also need to be in regular contact with your team, Tech Lead, Engineers, and clients to provide reporting on team velocity, burndown and resourcing actuals.

The role sits within our Operational Delivery team and forms part of a dedicated 'pod' team, consisting of Azure Tech Lead, Azure engineers and specialist SMEs supporting our clients requiring trusted cloud and agile expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate and support the team to deliver outcomes of engineering and operational support across client's Azure environments
Understand the client's business strategy and requirements, work with client to manage refinement and delivery of user stories on technical roadmap, and clearly articulate progress
Facilitate agile ceremonies and daily standups as a scrum master
Own and remove any impediments for the team, escalating where necessary
Manage either a single client project or a portfolio of clients
Provide internal and external status reporting on client delivery, dependencies, risks and issues
Have an understanding of cloud, Azure services and cloud management platforms
Lead team to influence client feature development speed, while having an understanding to balance feature reliability and client's service level objectives
A recognised qualification in agile (e.g. Agile, Agile Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Scrum Master Practitioner)
Experience with project methodologies e.g. Agile, SCRUM, SDLC
Demonstrated experience in successfully managing stakeholder relationships at all levels
Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities
Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to effectively communicate/ present up to Clevel
Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite

This role will be based remotely with 1-2 days a week in the office.
