Verve People recruit on behalf of leading hotels, restaurants, and venues in and around Chester.


We are currently looking for an experienced Stores Co-ordinator
to join our Domestic Services team at the University of Chester. You will be working with experienced team members who will nurture and refine your skills.

Shifts will be an agreed flexible rota, working no more than five days out of the seven.

This role requires role to hold a full UK driving licence.


What your role would include:

- responsible for managing and maintaining stock levels for example, cleaning chemicals and equipment, white goods and paper products
- take stock of deliveries, collating stock to be distributed to cleaning cupboards
- ensuring the correct amount of linen and complimentary items are delivered/collected to residential buildings in line with conference needs

  • On occasion you may be required to assist in making beds, service occupied rooms, carry out periodic cleaning and use floor cleaning machines for which additional training will be given
  • Driving University vehicles and using some tools and equipment to support the duties of the role for example, floor cleaning machine and basic hand tools is expected
  • Previous similar experience
  • Willingness to undertake training and development as required by the University, including IT
  • Competent knowledge of cleaning equipment and materials
  • Approachable and helpful personality
