Business Support Officer ( grade 4)

Liverpool

Mon to Fri 9am to 5.30pm

Salary 26-30k per annum plus holiday pay


Local Authority are looking to recruit three Business Support Officer to join the Quality Assurance & Safeguarding Business Support Team, Children and Young People's Services.

This is initially for 3 months


Responsibilities:


  • The successful post holder will be required to support the Quality Assurance & Safeguarding Unit providing highquality business support to Independent Reviewing Officers & Child Protection Chairs in the delivery of statutory responsibilities.
  • You will be responsible for the endtoend administration of arranging statutory Child Protection Conferences & Looked After Children Reviews. This will involve liaising with social workers, team managers and Independent Reviewing Officers via verbal and electronic correspondence, collating paperwork and agendas.
  • You will be required to complete detailed minutetaking and record decisionmaking on electronic systems.
  • You will be a dynamic person with a positive ethos and a commitment to supporting children and young people. You will work well in a team and under your own initiative with the ability to prioritize a busy workload.
The role will be for 35 hours per week Monday to Friday.


Applicants need the following:


  • 5 GCSE's/NVQ Level 3 in administration or equivalent.
  • Experience in taking accurate minutes or experience of detailed report writing.
  • Experience in producing data and financial reports for analysis.
  • Experience in arranging a variety of meetings, preparing agendas, arranging venues, circulation of preagenda items, distributing minutes and outcomes from meetings.
  • The ability to produce quality work within the highly pressurized and timerestricted situations.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to use own initiative and prioritize own workload.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
