Warner Recruitment are super excited to be working with Valhalla PCS Accountancy Practice in Towcester, Northamptonshire.

To recruit for a Bookkeeper on a 10 month Fixed Term Contract with the potential to go permanent, due to company growth.

Valhalla PCS are a proactive firm of chartered accountants, tax advisors and business advisors who offer a bespoke service. They have a super friendly working culture and really care about their staff.

Valhalla work a 4-day week and have been using this model successfully since 2007 (so many years ahead of current trends).

Working 37 hours Monday -Thursday really works well for the business and the staff. No more working on a Friday Valhalla is financiallystable, busy company with an established and varied portfolio of clients.

Bookkeeper/ Assistant Accountant / Accounts Assistant/ Accounts Administrator

  • Purchase ledger
  • Sales ledger
  • Bank reconciliations
  • VAT returns and preparation
  • Submission of VAT reports to HMRC,
  • Bookkeeping
  • Payroll administration
  • Running BAC's payments
  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Dealing with payroll queries
  • Accruals
  • Prepayments
  • Fixed asset register
  • Journals
  • Month end reporting

Person:

  • AAT qualified or studier beneficial (Not essential)
  • Friendly
  • Able to work on several company accounts
  • Be able to commute to the Towcester office daily
  • Can do attitude
  • Good communication skills
