Job Description:
Our Finance Manager is currently recruiting for a hardworking and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join their friendly and high performing Transaction Processing team.
You will be based in our Head Offices in Smethwick (B66 1BY) and your days of work will be Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities of this role will include;- Maintenance of Vendor Master file and creation of vendors on the Unit4 Agresso system
- Process invoices daily on Unit4 Agresso and V1 invoice processing system
- 3 way matching system (Purchase orders ,GRNi, through to processing invoices)
- Perform reconciliations to Suppliers statements with a variety of payment terms
- Liaise with suppliers and DPD Depot Administrators to ensure resolution of queries.
- General AP office related duties
Qualifications:
About You
To succeed in this role you will be able to evidence previous experience of accounts payable / purchase ledger practices and processes and experience of handling large amounts of data.
Due to the nature of our business the ability to thrive in a busy and fast paced environment would be preferred.
We would also expect;- A good level of ability on Excel & Google Sheets
- Strong communication skills
- A flexible/positive approach to how you work, and be able to adapt to change when necessary
- A high level of attention to detail
- A history of process improvement
- Be deadline driven, and have the ability to work as a team
