Description
Our client, a high-profile Gloucester-based, small in revenue terms, but with significant ambitious growth plans, seeks to recruit a Financial Controller to join their senior management team.
Reporting to & supporting the MD, you will have full responsibility for the finance function and all that entails; financial controls, reporting, planning & analysis, operations, staff m/ment (small, but capable team) etc.
As a member of the management team, working with key internal & external stakeholders, you will provide strategic hands-on leadership & direction re the commercial development of the organisation; and there are major upcoming projects which come into thiscategory.
We seek a qualified (highly likely) accountant with either no1 finance experience in an SME, or someone who is ready to progress into such a role.
You'll be working with some bright, strong characters so your commercial awareness,influencing skills, gravitas, strength of character & leadership skills will come to the fore.
A positive, can-do attitude is paramount.
A highly-respected MD will be there to help you navigate your new environment & develop your skillset to best play your part in the successful growth of this exciting organisation.
