Description

The Role


To provide a quality service to clients in respect of renewal and new business insurance arrangements advising, arranging and securing appropriate cover for clients' demands and needs.

Products include private medical insurance, group life, group critical illness, cash plans, denplans and employer assistance programmes.


Key Responsibilities
General responsibilities

  • Maintaining relationship, interaction and liaising with client on daytoday basis
  • Maintaining relationship, interaction and liaising with insurers on daytoday basis
  • Processing MTA's and administration
  • Ensuring all communications, documents, invoices are issued in a compliant way in line with company Policies & Procedures and full utilisation of Acturis.
New Business

  • Arranging appointment to existing schemes with all insurers following clients instruction
  • Invoicing
  • Policy wordings checking correct and suitable for client demands, needs and cover requirements
Renewal Business

  • Updating records with any changes to client demands, needs, cover requirements, Fact Finds and underwriting information.
  • Production of initial draft Broking presentation for Broker.
  • Pipeline register completion
  • Liaising with Employee Benefits Consultant / Broker on broking strategy to be employed
  • Obtaining terms from holding insurers
  • Renewal Report production
  • Invoicing
  • Policy wordings ensuring correct and suitable for client demands, needs and cover requirements

Person Specification

  • Preferably a minimum of 2 years in the insurance industry within Employee Benefits
  • Minimum Cert CII or currently working towards
  • Target book size of £300,000
  • Strong working knowledge of employee benefits IT systems
  • A Cando attitude with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work to deadlines and multitask in order to get required work carried out

Salary:
Up to £28,000.00 per year
