Wild Thang are looking for a Shipping & Data Management Administrator to join our successful, shipping & logistics team who work together closely with our sales & warehouse departments.

The positon has become available due to company growth and individual promotion within the team.

The individual must be a team player who is a dedicated, honest, hardworking, looking to create a solid career path in a fast paced sales/customer service environment.

OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

Correct dispatch & delivery of all parcels leaving Wild Thang Ltd
Ensuring all data is correctly formatted for uploads/imports
Health and safety of the workforce
Carrying out and attaining the mission and the goals of the roles managed
Development within a superior workforce
Development of the processes
Development of an employeeoriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance
Personal ongoing selfdevelopment and personal growth as an employee

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

SHIPPING

Wild Thang will export EU and ROW countries; including instructing suppliers to ship directly to EU & ROW countries also.

A strong shipping, both export and import knowledge
Strong understanding of duties & calculations
Understanding basic incoterms
Understanding volumetric weights o Understanding IOR and PVA
Experience in commercial invoicing
Calculating quotations for shipping
Organising shipping tracking
Understanding customs duties

DATA MANAGEMENT

A strong knowledge of excel
Experience in csv data import
Understanding of mapping fields
Data import over a variety of couriers
Mail merge excel > word to generate labels/envelopes/documents

SHIP HERO, _training will be given on our fulfilment software, but_:

Understanding stock control would be advantageous
Understanding stock/order life cycle

ADDITIONAL DUTIES/REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION WILL INCLUDE:

Customer service via web queries
Proactive
Work independently and as part of a team
Using your own initiative
Hold a commercial value to processes within the Company
Excellent time management skills
Work within a set structure & ability to implement structures
Follow guidance given for job processes
Reactive when needed chasing couriers, pushing deliveries etc
Focused errors do happen but lack of focus will increase them
Ability to work under pressure and resolve potential conflict situations
Represent and promote company brand at all times
To build and maintain strong customer/supplier relationships

This is a full time permanent position that involves a 6 month probationary period. Working hours are 8am-5pm Monday - Thursday; 8.30am-4.30pm Friday. 20 days paid holiday per year plus bank holidays with Company shut down over the Christmas period.
