Summary
Responsibility includes efficient and effective working both individually and as part of a team to deliver the departments targets and objectives
Shift Pattern
Monday - Friday, rotating shifts 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm. Once trained will be expected to join a Sunday rota.
Experience-Essential
Experience of working within a mechanical and/or manual production environment
Experience preferable
Basic understanding of the principles of Quality Management Systems

Main Responsibilities/Main Tasks

Product Manufacture
- Work in line with generated work procedures in ensuring a high quality is achieved and sustained.
- Have understanding of the key performance indicators that you will be measured too.
- Execute all daily, weekly and monthly cleaning/ basic maintenance/ calibration programmes
- Perform required daily equipment / process tests.
- Reviewed by line manager and through internal audits.
- Reviewed during 1:1 performance reviews with line manager
- Checksheets maintained and signed off.
- Checksheets maintained and signed off.
Compliance
- Ensure the manufacturing area is kept tidy at all times by adopting a policy of good house keeping.
- Communication to the maintenance department and team leader / senior operator of any persistent machine faults, to allow planned and preventative maintenance to be coordinated in line with the needs of production.
- Help develop an open and honest culture
- All operators lead by good example ensuring compliance with the work procedures
- The production facility is in a continual state of audit readiness.
- Faults are reported immediately to line manager or maintenance team.
- Reviewed during 1:1 performance reviews with line manager
- No deviation to outline work procedures that could have an adverse effect on product supplied.
Health and Safety
- Comply with the company "Rules and regulations" through the adoption of Health, safety, emergency response and environmental best practice.
- Individual compliance with Company rules and regulations.
Personal Development
- Maintain and develop individual skills from a technical compliance and departmental perspective.
- Pro active development of own business knowledge including supervisory and specialist knowledge and skills, undertaking any necessary highlighted self development actions and communicating personal development needs.
- Own training record is uptodate to enable career development and to aid the achievement of the department's objectives / individual objectives.
