A leading international architecture, engineering, and design consultancy firm committed to creating sustainable and innovative built environments is seeking a Senior Sustainability Consultant.

With a rich heritage and a strong reputation for excellence, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated specialist to join our dynamic team.


As a Senior Sustainability Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on developing and implementing sustainability strategies for their projects.

You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, spanning various sectors, including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, some really cool public sector projects and more.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with clients to understand their sustainability objectives and develop tailored strategies to achieve them.
  • Provide expert consultancy services on sustainability across a range of disciplines including
  • BREEAM and Green Building Certification.
  • Building Physics, Energy Modelling and optimising Operational Energy
  • Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and evaluating Embodied Carbon
  • Stay uptodate with the latest industry standards, regulations, and emerging trends in sustainability to ensure the delivery of cuttingedge solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to integrate sustainability principles throughout the design and construction phases.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and technical documentation to communicate sustainability strategies and outcomes effectively.

Requirements:


  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience within the built environment sector
  • Experience within a clientfacing role to provide consultancy services is a must
  • Excellent understanding of the disciplines mentioned above. Expert knowledge is not expected in every area but the need to be able to communicate confidently with clients about of these is key
  • Excellent understanding of sustainability principles, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to develop innovative and practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering sustainability strategies for complex projects.
  • Relevant qualifications in sustainability, environmental sciences, engineering, or a related field (e.g., LEED AP, BREEAM Assessor, etc.) are highly desirable.
