An average day as a Credit Controller

You will carry out daily banking and allocation of payments onto the system.
You will control and manage debtors in line with credit terms.
You will investigate and resolve customer queries, disputes and issues.
You will escalate problem accounts.
Build up relationships with customers.
Be able to carry out credit checks and have experience working with credit limits.
Be able to send statements
Be able to liaise and provide updates and support to sales operative and branch accountants

About you

Previous credit control sales ledger experience within the automotive industry is preferred but not essential.
You will be computer literate, especially Microsoft Office and Excel
You will have excellent communication and organisation skills.
Have the ability to work well under pressure
Have good business acumen for problem solving

The rest will come naturally.
Previous experience of using Kerridge/CDK or a similar system would be advantageous but not essential.
