Office Manager role
Paying 28-32k
Previous experience is required
Based in Essex


Duties will include:

  • Dealing with issues concerning but not limited to: lighting; heating; cleaning the environment; air conditioning installation and maintenance; toilets and drains; kitchens maintenance including microwaves and fridges; painting and decorating.
  • Ensuring that the working environment is maintained to a suitable level to minimise work interruptions.
  • Cocoordinating and managing all relationships with external suppliers in order to ensure a functioning work environment.
  • Identifying and briefing suppliers when establishing contracts.
  • Controlling all costs associated with both office and building supplies, checking and approving invoices.
  • Managing relationships with health and safety and ensure the building complies with health and safety standards.
  • Managing the fire safety and first aid teams to ensure that procedures are up to date and followed correctly.
  • Organise first aid training for first aid representatives and fire wardens in the office. Running regular fire drills and evacuations.
  • Providing regular utility and meter readings.
  • Ensuring that regular services are carried out on office equipment such as lifts, boilers and electricity meters so that we continue to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that the stationary cupboard is always well stocked.
  • Answering of reception phone and door.
