This is an exciting opportunity to join our Hydrogen team and support the delivery of our Future of Gas Programme.

The successful applicant will support the Head of Strategy Programme Management and both the Strategy and Hydrogen Development and Operations (HyDOP) management teams in the efficient administration of the projects and any required regulatory reporting.


What you'll get to work on

  • Communicate throughout the business with key stakeholders including leading telephone conversations/conferences, capturing minutes and facilitating workshops.
  • Work with our customer teams to ensure the correct measures and documents are being applied to a project to get the right outcome for our programme (and ultimately our customers).
  • Manage the programme tracker(s) for projects under the differing Programme workstreams (and funding mechanisms) and escalating risks to the Head of Strategy programme management and Management teams in a timely and professional manner.
  • Review departmental actions and make appropriate challenges to ensure all timescales and capacity restraints are achievable.
  • Administer the overall FOG (Hydrogen) Programme portfolio.
  • Undertake transactions in the Ariba system and monthly reconciliation of spend and accruals.

Who are we looking for

  • Able to demonstrate experience of successful contribution to significant projects
  • Project planning, management and delivery capability
  • Analytical skills, including cost and benefit assessments
  • Work collaboratively across functional / business boundaries
  • Ability to analyse data, identifying issues and root causes
  • Excellent attention to detail within communication and reporting
  • Experience of operating and maintaining processes for: regulatory compliance, governance and finance, data/document management
  • Good understanding of SAP from a finance and procurement user perspective
  • Excellent Excel and MS PowerPoint skills
