Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with Customers, and maintaining the bar area to high standards. Previous experience in a bar environment is preferred. The successful applicant will be an organised individual with excellent time management skills, capable of working efficiently during busy periods.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
• Greet guests warmly and take drink orders accurately, ensuring prompt service
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible serving policies
• Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system effectively
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
• Engage with customers to enhance their experience, creating a lively yet professional environment
• Follow all safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
• Light Cleaning of customer seating area and other public area.

Skills

• Proven experience in ahospitality role, particularly as a bartender setting
• Strong knowledge of responsible alcohol service
• Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
• Basic maths skills for handling payments and managing tabs accurately
• Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods
• Good organisational skills to keep the bar area tidy and stocked efficiently
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness
• Personal qualities such as reliability, adaptability, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
