Cottage Care Services is a small, family type service that provides quality care to Adults in the Inverclyde community.

We are looking for an
Evening and Weekend Support Worker, who has genuine interest in supporting vulnerable adults to have a good quality of life to join our team.

The role will include personal care, meal preparation and medication as well as providing emotional support to our service users and their families, within the Inverclyde area in service users own homes.

This post will be between 10 and 16 hours per week, and will be between the hours of 6pm and 8.30pm in the evenings and between the hours of 8am-8.30pm at the weekend.

Additional hours may be available during holidays etc.

The rate of pay is £10.90 Mon-Sun 8am-6pm, £11.15 after 6pm Monday-Sunday and £11.25 after 8pm Friday-Sunday. This rate will increase in line with the Scottish Living Wage increase to be implemented from April 1st 2024.

Workplace pension in place and mileage paid at 45p per mile and paid uniform.

All applicants must provide 2 good references and have clear PVG and if possible, live locally.
