Our client is an award winning legal firm looking for a Completions Assistant for their fast paced New Build Property team.

They offer a wonderful office based setting with free parking and a bonus scheme. This role is a permanent office based position,Monday to Friday offering a salary of £21,000.


Main responsibilities:

  • Carrying out pre completion searches and ordering completion mortgage monies from lenders.
  • Using the Land Registry portal to carry out priority searches and bankruptcy searches.
  • Submitting relevant documents to lenders, as well as drafting and filing Stamp Duty Land Tax returns.
  • Working with our accounts team with regards to sending funds.
  • Assisting completion teams with workload.
  • Dealing with lender's requirements after completion and dealing with deeds after completion.
  • Liaising with clients & lenders prior to completion to finalise accounts and to generally deal with completion of a transaction.
  • Redeeming lender's charges, balances to clients and settling estate agents' fees after completion.
  • Dealing with Department administrative tasks
