Our client is an award winning legal firm looking for a Completions Assistant for their fast paced New Build Property team.
Main responsibilities:
- Carrying out pre completion searches and ordering completion mortgage monies from lenders.
- Using the Land Registry portal to carry out priority searches and bankruptcy searches.
- Submitting relevant documents to lenders, as well as drafting and filing Stamp Duty Land Tax returns.
- Working with our accounts team with regards to sending funds.
- Assisting completion teams with workload.
- Dealing with lender's requirements after completion and dealing with deeds after completion.
- Liaising with clients & lenders prior to completion to finalise accounts and to generally deal with completion of a transaction.
- Redeeming lender's charges, balances to clients and settling estate agents' fees after completion.
- Dealing with Department administrative tasks
