About The Role
Main duties will focus on the supervisory management of:

  • Health and Safety
  • Quality, Food Hygiene and Food Safety
  • People Planning
  • Performance management
  • Planning Production
  • Supervising operations
  • Ensuring ERP systems requirements are fulfilled
  • Training and development
  • Maintaining Product Quality
  • Problem solving and decision making
  • Continuous improvement


This is a full-time vacancy which will include day shift hours with regular Saturday work on rotation, however evening shift work on rotation (Monday to Friday, 2.00pm - 12am approximately) will also be required.


Shift bonus £10
paid per evening shift, overtime rate of 1.5 pay rate applied on any hours worked over 40 hours.

Required Criteria

  • Relevant supervisory, chargehand or team leading experience, gained in a food production environment,
  • Good communication, interpersonal and delegation skills and the ability to effectively interact with and motivate staff at all levels,
  • Effective planning and organisational skills,
  • Effective decision making skills and a proactive approach to problem solving,
  • The ability to work on own initiative within minimum supervision, as well as part of a team,
  • A good general awareness of food hygiene, health and safety and quality,
  • A flexible approach to working hours,
  • A good basic standard of computer literacy and a good standard of literacy and numerical skills will be essential for this role as it involves calculating figures, data entry, records, reports etc.
  • Must have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom
