Fulltime all year round role

Are you enthusiastic about delivering top-notch dining experiences? Do you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? Midsomer Schools Partnership is searching for a dedicated individual to join our team and oversee our culinary operations across multiple school sites.


As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service, and hygiene are consistently met.

Your responsibilities will include menu planning, procurement, staff management, budgeting, and fostering a culture of excellence within our catering team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute creative and nutritious menu options that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
  • Manage food purchasing, inventory control, and supplier relationships to optimise costefficiency without compromising on quality.
  • Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to consistently deliver outstanding service and uphold food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with school administrators and stakeholders to align catering services with educational goals and community expectations.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyse data, and implement strategies to achieve budgetary targets and maximize profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in catering management or a similar role, preferably within an educational or institutional setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and empower team members to excel in their roles.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in food safety regulations and compliance standards.

Salary:
£32,076.00-£39,186.00 per year
