Scanning Nurse / Midwife - Private Clinic
Up to £46,000 per annum plus mileage
North West - Travel to clinics in Leeds, Manchester, Blackpool, Stockport and Bolton
Full-Time, Permanent, working 4 days per week (08:00 - 18:00) with 1 day working from home

Compass Associates are delighted to be working in partnership with a private surgical provider who provide a safe and trusted service to ensure informed choices around pregnancy, contraception and sexual health can be made.

They aim to provide quality, safe and affordable services in accordance with professional standards to both private clients and on contract to the NHS for termination of pregnancy, sterilisation, vasectomy and vasectomy reversal.

They are currently seeking Scanning Nurses / Midwives who can deliver safe and effective care of clients wanting to access consultation for unplanned pregnancy, surgical and medical abortions and contraception and sexual health services for women.

You must have ultrasound scanning experience, both transabdominal and transvaginal, in the first and second stage trimester.
The Role
As a Scanning Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the clients are always aware of their options.

You will undertake consultations including the discussion and confirmation of treatment options, carrying out observations, ultrasound scanning, administration of drugs to clients and identifying safeguarding concerns.

You will also provide a comprehensive telephone triage service, for pre and post treatment clients providing appropriate information, advice or referrals as per the agreed protocols.

This is a full-time role working across 4 days which include 3 days scanning in clinics throughout the North West and one day working from home carrying out consultations with patients.

You will be paid mileage for travel and rotas are given - 6 weeks in advance.
Role Requirements
RGN / Midwife with active NMC
Up to date knowledge and experience of working in a sexual health / gynaecological service
Ultrasound scanning experience in first and second trimester
Full UK drivers license and access to own car
