Client Executive for Financial Sector - London, United Kingdom - Citi
Description
Responsibilities:
- Target key prospects to develop pipeline and sources new mandates for Citi
- Position Citi to win mandates by being fully conversant with relevant product characteristics
- Arrange client events, join roadshows, and provide regular market updates to clients.
- Manage the deal pipeline process, once identified, through to implementation including: assembling the appropriate deal team; working with product & client management to package the best solution
- Championing complex deals or multiproduct opportunities through the deal review process;
- Service key clients and provide a high quality value added service experience across all the client organization.
- Lead RFP and SLA preparation/negotiation and other marketing support to drive sales
- Provide solution for all escalated service related issues and coordinate resolution within Citi
- Conduct regular service reviews and develop action plans to confirm commitment and optimize service levels
- Maintain product knowledge and provide expertise globally
- Perform industry and competitor analysis to explore opportunity for new products
- Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
- Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
- Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm's reputation
- Be familiar with and adhere to Citi's Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience, including 810+ years' managerial experience
- Fluent written and verbal English
- Leadership, team management experience
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
