SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

CARDIFF

UP TO £60,000


A great opportunity for a Software Engineer looking to make the next step in their career with one of the UK's leading insurance providers.


THE COMPANY
The business is one of the UK's leading insurance providers and specialising in providing insurance products to their customers.

This role sits within their newly created Customer Engagement team and will see you work on their new exciting Virtual Agentproject - which oversees a goal to enhance the capabilities of the businesses contact centre.

In terms of the specifics of the role, you will be working across multiple new technologies. This will include building a new cloud-native product with NLU technologies and customer centre integrations.

Presenting an exciting opportunity to join a multi-skilledagile team developing a new project to transform how customers interact with the business.


THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Helping to develop and promote longterm technical strategy of the team
  • Working alongside the team/business to develop solutions to support the product roadmap
  • Production of technical and functional specifications
  • Assisting in introducing emerging tech and their suitability to business demands
  • Generating good unittest coverage and control
  • Building and supporting infrastructure in the cloud
  • Building and maintaining pipelines

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Expertise in Typescript is desirable
  • Experience in Terraform
  • Experience with cloudbased platform
  • GCP or AWS
  • Experience in TDD
