Description
_We envisage this role being split across our Stroud and Cirencester offices so a willingness to travel is important._


Correspondence, reports and other documents
Ø Manage incoming and outgoing post in both Stroud and Cirencester offices.

Ø Produce information using spreadsheets and databases.


Administration
Ø Assist in setting up the office on a daily basis ensuring equipment is working and maintained and stationery supplies are adequate

Ø Support advisers with basic IT eg logging onto machines

Ø Provide administrative support to volunteer advisers, caseworkers and supervisers

Ø Answer the admin telephone helpline and refer calls or take messages as necessary

Ø Update and maintain accurate case records.

Ø Create, maintain and archive paper and electronic filing systems in accordance with the organisation's systems and procedures

Ø Deal with confidential documents and ensure confidentiality of information in respect of records maintained and tasks undertaken

Ø Attend meetings as agreed with the Core Service Support Officer


Reception
Ø Provide a professional and welcoming greeting to service users and other visitors

Ø Provide information on the service


Professional development
Ø Keep up to date with policies and procedures and undertake any appropriate training

Ø Prepare for and attend team and staff meetings


Other duties and responsibilities
Ø Help to arrange events

Ø Assist with publicity, including the production of leaflets and posters in accordance with the Citizens Advice brand guidelines; and posting on social media (training can be provided)

Ø Any other relevant administrative and support duties required to ensure the smooth running of the service

Ø Abide by health and safety guidelines and share responsibility for own safety and that of colleagues

Ø Ensure that work undertaken reflects and supports the Citizens Advice services equity, diversity and inclusion strategy


Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Part-time hours: 24 per week


Salary:
From £19,490.00 per year
