Pensions Test Analyst
Are you a Test Analyst looking for your next challenge? Do you thrive in an ambitious and exciting team?


Working closely with the pensions team and external developers you will be responsible for making changes to the pensions administration systems.


You will thoroughly test to meet the agreed requirements and ensure that these changes have not affected the system functionality and performance.

Your Day

  • Produce the project testing strategy document
  • Produce and execute all test scripts
  • Identify system data and environmental requirements to allow the testing to proceed and ensure all required information is in place
  • Identify and log defects
  • Work with the wider team to standardise testing approaches and methodology
  • Participate in project requirement gathering workshops
  • Liaise with User Acceptance Testers to assist them in their creation of UAT test plans and oversight of their results
  • Advise members of the team of potential testing clashes and timescales to assist in project and portfolio planning

Your skills and Attributes

  • Demonstratable previous experience of leading testing activity on major projects, with examples of facilitating bug defect reporting.
  • Ability to evidence operational knowledge of UK DB and DC pensions and understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Comfortable facilitating discussion around bug defect resolution and working collaboratively to find solutions.
  • Knowledge of the full project life cycle and be able to demonstrate where the Test Analyst provides input into that life cycle.
  • As an individual you will be confident, articulate, possess good oral and written communications skills and be able to take ownership for prioritisation and execution of your own workload.
  • Proven track record of working as part of an agile working team
