Overview

  • The Recruitment Advisor plays a pivotal role within our esteemed People Team, working closely with the Recruitment Manager and Recruitment Business Partner to strategically acquire toptier talent from both internal talent pools and the broader market.

This multifaceted position involves collaborating with key stakeholders to meticulously define roles and ascertain the most effective avenues for talent acquisition.

Moreover, the incumbent will be instrumental in internally promoting vacancies to foster a culture of retention and continual professional growth among our workforce.


This role presents an ideal opportunity for individuals with experience in Graduate recruitment or a background in managing recruitment across different experience levels.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the running of the recruitment process for the company, focusing on developing diverse and inclusive teams
  • Managing the internal recruitment authorisation process
  • Increasing hiring managers' knowledge of recruitment policies, procedures and activities
  • Running Chambers Open Days to resource suitable new Research Analysts for the Research function
  • Responsible for guiding all recruitment choices
  • Conducting pay benchmarking exercises to ensure we are recruiting and retaining top talent
  • Being aware of resourcing and recruiting emerging trends, issues and best practices
  • Articulating internal career paths to all employees
  • Develop the functionality of the recruitment of the ATS using Chambers People (Sage People)
  • Working with the People Team on employer branding to attract top talent
  • Promotion of the understanding of company benefits

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable relevant experience within a similar role
  • Understanding of UK employment legislation, and particularly regarding inclusive hiring
  • Strong prioritisation skills
  • Interviewing skills and understanding of psychometric testing
  • Experience of resourcing via social media and job boards
  • Experience of working with key stakeholders and adding value
  • Experience working with ATS and HRIS systems
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to work to set deadlines
  • MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

  • Able to work effectively at speed and pace
  • Flexible, prepared to work on different tasks as needed and take responsibility for completion
  • Confident and articulate communicator (verbal and written), who must be able to deal with people at all levels
