A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified electrician to join the estates department of an award winning NHS Trust in Bradford.


The successful applicant will be required to carry out duties which include routine breakdown/ repair, planned maintenance and installation/ commissioning works on all the Trusts' electrical equipment and systems.

This work is carried out at all Trust propertiesand SLA sites.


The Estate Maintenance Department operate an approved and documented safe system of working for all electrical work undertaken on Trust premises.

The system meets the requirements of both the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and HTM 2020 Low VoltageSafety Code.


The post holder must be capable of organising their workload, on occasion, on your own initiative, with full consideration for patient and staff requirements within a sensitive and caring healthcare environment.

The post holder will come into regular contactwith patients and therefore professionalism at all times is required.


Essential requirements:
Clean driving licence and access to their own car - as travel to other Bradford locations will be required.

Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification,


Must be 18th edition, time served

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am-4pm.
