The RAG is a 26 acre, 7 pitch estate in SW London. We are home to Championship rugby sides Richmond and London Scottish, as well as many other clubs, incorporating rugby union, rugby league, football and various other sports and tournaments.
We are now recruiting for a hard working skilled groundsperson to work within the Estates team. You will be suitably qualified by both certification and experience.
You will need to be proficient in the safe and efficient use of all machinery and have a basic service and repair knowledge of all of these machines.
Experience of using travelling irrigators would be a distinct advantage.
As well as the day to day tasks such as mowing, marking out, fertilising, and all necessary maintenance requirements, you will need to be experienced in pitch renovations and growing in.
In addition to these requirements, you will be expected to carry out other duties, as may be reasonably required by the direction of the Head Groundsman or General Manager.
Reporting directly to the Head Groundsman, you will demonstrate self-motivation, good organisation skills and time management. You must be able to work independently as well as part of a small team. Regular overtime is available throughout the whole year. A full driving licence would be advantageous.Salary:
£15,160.35-£25,000.00 per year
