Minimum - 80% /4 days per week or full time
The post holder is based at the Consortium's coordinating centre on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. The incumbent will support the Cambridge based project team and facilitate seamless collaboration between the 15 participating Organisations.


Role Purpose The coordinator will be responsible for organising all BGC meetings, oversee the administrative aspects of the ethics and governance framework and be responsible for the content of the project website. In addition, the postholder will work with all project stakeholders and provide regular updates on progress at the Consortium meetings. Minutes and action logs are to be maintained, financial transactions are to be coordinated and on-boarding of New Member Organisations to be managed, including granting access to the BGC Secure Research Compute Platform at the University of Cambridge High Performance Compute Service. The postholder will also coordinate in partnership with the NIHR BioResource and NHS Blood and Transplant the Diversity project which aims to increase participation of individuals of non-European ancestry in biomedical research.


In the context of the AI in Haematology initiative the incumbent will collaborate seamlessly with other Project Coordinators to ensure timely delivery of the BGC, HaemMatch and BloodCounts Consortium projects.

The postholder will provide high level administrative support to the Chair and Chief Analyst for the BGC Consortium.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 1 years in the first instance.
