Join our fast-paced dynamic team working within the Skills2Achieve (S2A) and Strive supported employment team.

This role is pivotal to providing the effective and efficient administration of learners' education, supported employees' employment journey and funding paperwork.

You will be a key member of our team, also taking the initiative to support tutors in our learning centres with general administration duties.


This is a fixed term contract (6 months)

Main duties / responsibilities

  • Accurately recording and maintaining learner records on YETI database including: updating learner history, scanning and uploading of documents, tracking funding information, processing weekly bursary payments, adding travel payments, input of progress review data, contact details, referrals information etc)
  • Monitoring of student attendance and followup of student absence
  • Maintaining contact with leavers to track destination/employment status of learners
  • Administering City and Guilds Walled Garden system to register learners, book examinations, claim certificates, deal with queries etc
  • Supporting tutors with photocopying of learning resources, tracking and completing attendance registers and contacting learners or parents/carers
  • To provide accurate information and producing reports as requested by management e.g. numbers of learners on programme
  • Coordinating all travel arrangements/meal arrangements for projects
  • Distribute, coordinate and collate learner/stakeholder surveys
  • Support with coordination of work experience placements, ensuring appropriate compliance with health and safety and safeguarding processes
  • Lead and schedule S2A's social media content, develop marketing materials where needed and help to keep the website up to date
  • Minute taking for meetings as required across both services
  • Ensuring adequate stocks of resources, funding and induction paperwork, stationery and consumables are available as required to support the learning programme and centre staff
  • Support the Strive Administrator with TESG, Taxi and Access to Work funding claim forms
  • Support the Strive team with organising regular Employer and Employee Open Days, and facilitating external visits and audits for our Disability Confident services
