This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established business within Hartlepool as part of the production team within our manufacturing facility.

TMD Friction has over 135 years in the braking friction industry, we are among the world ́s largest manufacturers of brake friction materials and are trusted by the biggest brands in the automotive and industrial sectors. Scope of the Job

• Production or delivery of parts within our Hartlepool manufacturing facility.
• Follow company SOPs, policies and procedures whilst striving to achieve and improve upon our objectives, targets and KPIs.
• Maintain 5S standards and support our continuous improvement activities as part of your daily duties.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities are

• Production of quality parts and operation of machinery and equipment to achieve output targets within your working area.
• Ensure safe working practices are adhered to at all times and champion our 'Say No To Risk' approach to Health & Safety.
• Strive to achieve the highest standards of Quality for our customers and minimise scrap and waste.
• Maintain a clean working environment, workstation and ensure all equipment is meeting our factory standards, reporting and escalating any maintenance concerns.
• Adhere to all company rules and policies.
• Will report directly into the Working Team Leader.

Role Requirements

• Literacy and Numeracy skills to Level 1 standard
• IT skills (desirable)
• Manual dexterity (desirable)
