Description

I am currently supporting a high growth e-commerce market leader with a reputation for innovation and development to recruit a Head of Finance.

They are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller sitting within their Finance team.

We require a QualifiedAccountant (CIMA / ACA / ACCA) ideally with experience operating in a brand led business (FMCG, Retail or e-commerce), with strong awareness of the entire BAU finance function and both management/financial accounting.

Key deliverables include:

Prepare the global monthly management accounts, investor reports, financial KPIs, commentary and analysis;
Lead the external statutory audit process and any tax or VAT audits;
Preparing the annual statutory financial accounts, UK corporation tax returns and Companies House filings;
Responsible for sales and cost allocation and analysis, in particular sales rebates, product costs against standardised COGS and marketing expenditure;
Carry out all necessary actions to ensure that all legislative and regulatory financial reporting requirements are met;
Support the preparation of the annual budget & forecast;
Oversight of financial controls to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the financial statements in compliance with appropriate accounting standards;
Develop and support the finance team, to enhance their skills, knowledge and capabilities in line with their desired PDP; and
Undertake additional ad hoc duties / projects as and when required.
