Waracle is looking for a Scrum Master to join our team on a contract (Inside IR35) basis.


This is a hybrid role working from the Glasgow office, with an expectation of working at the client spot from time to time.


As a Scrum Master, you will be an expert in all things Agile, leading a highly skilled development team within an energy project.

You will be responsible for leading scrum ceremonies and coaching the wider team on agile best practices.

Some of the duties will include:

  • Organising and leading Scrum ceremonies, acting as a bridge between the development team, product managers and stakeholders.
  • Coach and mentor the team on Agile principles and best practices.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement in team performance, efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain focus on delivery within project constraints.
  • Promote a collaborative environment and remove any obstacles that burden the development team.

Requirements:


  • Experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.
  • Ability to lead and coach Agile practices and principles to both junior team members and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability and confidence to adapt Agile principles to a new situation.
  • Demonstrable skills in stakeholder management, both internal and external.
  • Background working within a mobile development project, ideally in a highly regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and software engineering principles.
  • A strong team leader with proven experience leading a highly technical, development team.
  • Expertise with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
