We are looking for a Room Leader for our independant Nursery based in central Winchester.

We would need you to work 38 hours per week over 4 days, so you have a day off each week.

If you are looking to work in a family run Nursery with great scope for progression this is the role for you.

Are you qualified level 3 or above?

Warm, kind and have a passion for enabling children to be the best that they can be?
Able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative?
Eager to learn and develop as a practitioner?

At our Nursery we offer:

Duties and Responsibilities:

To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children within our setting.
Liaise with Parents/carers.
Responsibility for the daytoday running of the room.
To be a reflective practitioner, lead by example and support your staff team.
To lead a staff team.
To support and work closely with the management team
To train, monitor and guide your staff team.
Provide a fun, educational activities to suit the age and stage of our children.
To keep a record of achievement file on your key children, supporting their individual needs & learning.
To actively promote and support the safeguarding of children within the setting, ensuring all of our policies and procedures are followed and implemented.
