Acorn Recruitment is looking for an Accounts Assistant on behalf of their client in Newport.
The client is an SME within the industrial sector and this post will be reporting into the Finance Director, responsible for bank postings, reconciliations, sales and purchase ledger activities and supporting the month end reporting process.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage all employee expenses
- Support with customer and supplier queries
- Sales and Purchase Ledger transaction processing and reconciling
- Support with invoice discounting
- Bank Transactions and Reconciling
- Support with daily, weekly and monthly reports for senior management team
Key Requirements:
- Strong IT skills with good experience on Excel
- Experience of working in a similar position
- Knowledge and experience of SAP would be beneficial
- Ability to work on your own initiative and able to prioritise workload
- Good communication and ability to problem solve
