    Contract Manager - High End Properties

    Skillful and experienced Contract Manager sought to oversee a diverse portfolio of building services, including technical systems, fabric repairs, and soft services across high-profile properties.

    About the Role:

    • Manage a £1M annual maintenance budget and an additional £500K for extra works.
    • Oversight of building services, including technical systems, fabric and building repairs, and soft services.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintenance & Project Management:
      • Plan and schedule engineer workloads to ensure efficient delivery of planned and reactive maintenance.
      • Ensure projects and maintenance work are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
    • Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
      • Serve as primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and maintaining strong relationships.
      • Regularly meet with clients and key stakeholders to review service performance, address concerns, and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Subcontractor Management:
      • Oversee selection, evaluation, and performance of subcontractors to ensure quality standards and timely delivery.
      • Manage subcontractor contracts, including pricing, performance monitoring, and quality assurance.
    • Soft Services Management:
      • Deliver soft services (e.g., cleaning, waste management, security) with consistency and quality.
    • Operational Leadership & Development:
      • Lead by example or from the front, supporting the team with technical challenges and ensuring efficient and safe operations.
      • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve service delivery, client satisfaction, and team performance.

      Requirements:

      • Extensive experience in facilities engineering and property maintenance, focusing on building services, property, and building maintenance.
      • Technically qualified.
      • Proven experience working with high-end and high-net-worth clients.
      • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within facilities management.
      • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
