Description
We're looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join a highly prestigious company based in Stoke on Trent. Due to continued growth, this newly created role has become available for an ACCA/ACA-qualified Accountant.

The Financial Reporting Accountant will prepare financial reports to applicable reporting standards and will also effectively manage key relationships relating to the Group audit and tax processes.


Key responsibilities for the Financial Reporting Accountant:

  • Preparing external financial reporting for the Group to include annual report and accounts.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and key disclosure requirements for annual reporting.
  • Management of the Group external audit process, liaising with external auditors and internal finance teams as appropriate.
  • Liaising with external advisers to ensure compliance with tax regulations including VAT and corporation tax.
  • Completion of monthly management accounts including consolidation of Group entities.
  • Management of the annual budgeting process including consolidation of Group entities.
  • Evaluation of cash flow forecast and compliance with financial covenants.
  • Management of Group foreign exchange h­­­edging arrangements.
  • Management of the UK R&D tax relief claim.
  • Support finance team with adhoc accounting projects as required.
  • CIMA / ACA / ACCA qualification
  • Experience in a similar role
  • The ability to bring in new ideas to improve reporting processes

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week


Salary:
£60,000 - £70,000 per annum
