An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced qualified RMN or social worker to join the award winning #thrive service.

The service provides emotional health and wellbeing support to young people and their families up to 19years of age in the Heywood, Middleton, Rochdale and Pennines localities.


Working in a fully integrated team with Youth In Mind and Your Trust the you will be responsible for offering assessment and interventions to young people both on an individual and group basis.

You will work closely with our extended services such as CAMHS or our Young Persons Mental Health Support Teams in schools to ensure young people receive the right support at the right time.

As well as partner agency MDT working with social care, education and the wealth of VCSE providers in the boroughs.

The post will suit a motivated practitioner who strives to provide excellent evidenced based care and who enjoys working individually and as part of a team


The service offers a fantastic range of training opportunities including a comprehensive care hub psychological therapies offer and robust quality supervision.


  • To ensure high quality assessment of children and families referred through the single point of access
  • To provide or provide access to a range of quality psychotherapeutic interventions in accordance with individual assessed need. This will include the assessment planning implementation and evaluation of a variety of therapeutic approaches either alone or as a member of the team
  • To be responsible for and manage a defined caseload and undertake case management responsibilities within the
  • To identify and develop strategies to manage risk to the child and others in line with Pennine care and CAMHS procedures
  • To liaise closely with a wide range of agencies regarding individual care packages and to promote awareness of child and adolescent mental health issues within these agencies
  • Undertake liaison and joint work with other professionals outside of the MDT
  • To provide consultation and training on a wide range of children's emotional health and wellbeing issues to professionals from a range of services including GP's, Early Help and Primacy Care Services, Adult Mental Health Services, Youth Offending Services and Education
