Location:
Hybrid/London or Bristol - Ideal is 2 days a week in office, minimum 1 day a week.

Spinwell is recruiting for a Service Owner for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.


RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SERVICE OWNER

  • You will lead on the operation and continuous improvement of the synthetic services.
  • You will drive delivery of the client's Synthetic services, supported by and working closely with Product Managers and Delivery Managers, including giving advice and direction to Product Owners and delivery teams where necessary,
  • You will lead on directionsetting and growth for the client's future synthetic services.
  • You will contribute to the development of the synthetic community of practice across defence and contribute to best practice and learning across digital delivery teams.
  • You will support the client 1* leadership (Head of Digital Services and Head of Platforms) and deputise for them as necessary on synthetic service matters.
  • You will be a member of the client Senior Leadership Team, helping to drive forward the wider development and make it a success.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE SERVICE OWNER

  • Must have experience of software delivery
  • Must have agile experience in this area
  • Must be experienced
  • Stakeholder management
  • Need deep SME
  • Experience running agile software delivery teams
  • Must know best practise from agile perspective
  • Good sense of financial ownership
  • Running end to end in high values
  • Hands on product mindset
