SALES CO-ORDINATOR - £27-30K (Pro rata)

Monday to Thursday - 4 days per week


Our client is a market leader and they are now looking to add a new member to their already successful and expanding Sales Team.

The role will be office based and report directly into the Sales Manager and be based in a really friendly and supportive environment.

The Internal Sales role is an exciting role and is not a "hard sell". The successful Internal Salesperson will be positive, confident and outgoing.

There will also be some sales admin which will involve processing orders and becoming familiar with the existing client base.

The Internal Sales role is busy and varied and you will enjoy talking to an array of different individuals and find it easy to build a rapport.

You will be informing existing clients of promotions and other product offerings. The Internal Sales role is varied and can develop further.

We need someone who is not afraid to pick up the phone and happy to build strong working relationships in an informal yet professional manner.

The successful Internal Salesperson could come from either a customer services background or any sort of sales.

Some of the duties will include:

  • Responsible for developing accounts and new business calling existing clients and communicating over the phone in a polite and positive manner
  • Making calls on a daily basis and daily use of inhouse system
  • Developing sales leads via the phone and making appointments for the Field Sales team


  • Account Management

  • Informing existing clients of other products developing a rapport with clients
  • Following up on quotations and samples
  • Chasing sales and monitoring sales analysis
  • Liaison with suppliers and chasing up orders
  • Liaise with field sales staff to ensure all information is communicated
  • Sales administration inputting client details and maintaining and updating client database
  • Confident and positive
  • Experienced in Sales or Customer Services
  • Strong background in sales administration/internal sales
  • Good on the telephone
  • Adaptable ability to meet the customers varying demands and needs
  • Have business acumen and have a customer focused attitude
  • Enthusiastic and self
- motivated

  • Career minded
  • Have a sense of humour

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Telephone sales or customer service over phone: 1 year (required)
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
