Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Mechanical Contracts Manager on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Arrange and undertake final site survey (if needed)
Liaise with US manufacturer to confirm technical details and buying costs
Determine what other materials and/or equipment are required to fulfil the works
Determine what additional labour is required (if any) to fulfil the works
Place orders on US manufacturer and other suppliers and/or subcontractors
Assist with the development and issue of RAMS
Liaise with customer to arrange site installation dates.
Receive incoming goods from US manufacturer and other suppliers and check for accuracy against corresponding orders and quotations.
Update the Company's IBMS job processing system in a timely and accurate manner
Keep manager informed concerning lead times and all other customerrelated matters
Attend and complete site installation works, working alone or as site person in charge of internal or subcontracted assistance, ensuring Company reputation is safeguarded and the safe, accurate and timely completion of the works
