We are currently recruiting for a Assistant Buyer to work in our facility in Severn Beach. Experience is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided

The main responsibilities of this role are:

Recording and communicating supplier performance, both internal and external, including On Time In Full, growth and other agreed KPI's in the supply agreements.
Assisting the Procurement team with cost saving projects, NPD projects and sourcing raw materials, Packaging Approval and CSR projects.
Requesting samples and quotes and agreeing orders for spot purchases.
Recording internal procurement meeting minutes and supplier meeting minutes.
Compiling a monthly currency forecast for the finance team to ensure adequate levels of currency are booked in advance.
Compiling benchmarking sessions, including where necessary requesting samples, in accordance with the benchmarking procedure
Managing quarterly contract reconciliations with suppliers, and correcting any discrepancies
Compiling KPI's in advance of supplier review meetings and communicating supplier performance.
Managing supplier rejects internally and externally to ensure that the rejection is agreed by the supplier, and rejected materials are returned to the supplier in a timely manner.

The hours for this role are flexible

Monday to Friday

40 hour per week with an option to work from home up to 2 days per week. Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
