1.Accounts duties:
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Weekly cashflow and projected cashflow
- Weekly income
- Assisting with maintenance of financial reports
- Dealing with completions
- CHAPS payments in and out and checking completion statements
- Processing payments and receipts using online banking, cheques and debit cards
- Processing invoices to our clients
- Maintenance of an effective Credit Control system
- Daily banking
- Accounts related queries on file closure
- Accounts scanning
- Accounts queries and other related matters as required
Other duties include:
- Review of holiday register if required
- To maintain a sickness register
- To order stationery as and when required and to monitor all stationery accounts and coordinate payment with the Finance Manager
- Admin filing and scanning
Requirements:
- Ideally experience of the Solicitors Accounts Rules and working within a legal accounts environment
- Hard working and organised
- Attention to detail/excellent accuracy
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Have good communication skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
